Bathroom Upgrade: Before

Vancouver bathroom renovation

The purpose of this bathroom upgrade was to help the homeowners make better use of their small bathroom space while making it look clean and inviting.

Before the upgrade, the bathroom was old and outdated, with worn-out fixtures and a tired design that had seen better days. The tiles on the floor and walls were cracked and discoloured, and the bathtub and sink were stained and chipped. The lighting was dim and uninviting, making the space feel small and cramped. The overall look and feel of the bathroom were unappealing, with no discernible style or cohesive aesthetic. Despite being functional, the bathroom lacked the modern amenities and comforts of a contemporary home, leaving the occupants feeling dissatisfied and uninspired. It was clear that a renovation was in order to breathe new life into this tired space and create a more functional and attractive bathroom.

The Upgrade Process

The bathroom upgrade in Vancouver began with a complete demolition of the existing fixtures and finishes. The old tiles, sink, and lighting was removed, leaving a blank canvas for the contractors to work with. With a fresh start, the team began the process of designing and constructing a brand-new bathroom.

One of the major changes that were made was the addition of a standing sink. We recommended this style to the homeowners as a way to maximize space in the small bathroom. We carefully installed the sink, making sure to position it in a way that allowed for easy access while also having additional storage space. A mirror was also installed above the sink which included a backlight.

The bathroom renovation also included the installation of a new toilet, walls, and flooring. The homeowners had expressed a desire for new shower walls and flooring to make the bathroom look more modern and clean.

Bathroom Upgrade: After

After the completion of the bathroom renovation project, the final product was a stunning and modern space that the homeowners could be proud of. The Kaizen team had done an excellent job of completely transforming the outdated and cramped bathroom into a clean, contemporary, and functional space.

A few highlights of the project were the new shower space with a proper shelf, tiles, and beautiful shower heads. Additionally, the new sink and backlit mirror complimented the overall design of the bathroom and provided more light to the space.

Above all, the homeowners now have a bathroom that has all the modern features, looks fantastic, and doesn't feel cramped like it did before.
